Pricing principles

We offer two options of log houses:

1. The whole set of log house body material including:

    1.1. Logs for walls, ceiling beams, head gables and ridge beams;

    1.2. Floors (floor boards, floor beams and, if necessary, subfloor made of pine or spruce);
    1.3. Inserted ceiling (single or double boards with slats for mounting sound isolation);
    1.4. Roof construction (rafters, sub-boards, slats for ventilation, sarking);
    1.5. Windows made of laminated timber (tilt and turn opening) are complete and have double-glazing as well as “ROTO”-type closures (meeting EU-standards);
    1.6. Insulated front doors made of solid wood (with double-glazing);
    1.7. Mounting accessories (dowels, slats, sideboards, tender poles, etc);
    1.8. Special metal accessories needed for mounting the log house (see the drawing on the back of leaflet).

Parts not included in the set of house parts but which can be provided or implemented on request:

  • Material for setting up the foundation (FIBO-blocks, etc);
  • Insulation and sealing materials (insulation wool, flax felt, rockwool, moss);
  • Roofing materials (stone, sheet metal, honeycomb board, etc);
  • Materials for external and internal finishing and implementation;
  • Transport to construction site;
  • Mounting of house;
  • Masonry (chimney, fire-place, furnace);
  • Sanitary ware and electricity supply.

2. When all the abovementioned details are added, the house shall be completed according to the second option – “turn-key” solution. This means that the house is fully completed and ready for the client to move in right after delivery.

However, travel costs of the builders shall be added to the price in both cases.

Having learned all the abovementioned aspects, you can see that the price of a house includes several different items. Without knowing exactly what type of a house you need it is impossible to give you the exact price. The price of a log house depends to a great extent on the size of the logs (the thicker the walls, the more expensive the house), number of inserted walls, construction complexity of the house (number of protrusions, different levels) and so on. The price also varies depending on whether you order the “turn-key” solution or only the log body of the house. In order to make the pricing principles easier to understand, we have drawn up average prices per floor square metre based upon our experience. The price per one floor square metre of the log body (i.e. log body, saw and planer material, doors and windows) varies from 4500 to 7000 kroons without mounting (the mounting price shall be added as extra).

When you have made up your mind and decided what your dream house should be like, we are able to provide you with more exact price offer.
